The Future Of Community Pharmacy
Timothy Aungst, PharmD at The Digital Apothecary joined the April 2023 Total Pharmacy Solutions Summit and spoke about how technology and automation continue to grow in the health care world.
"The pandemic was a watershed moment for us in terms of embracing technology in healthcare," said Timothy Aungst, PharmD said in his seminar "The Future Of Community Pharmacy, Embracing Digital Health Technologies For Growth And Impact" at the April 2023 Total Pharmacy Solutions Summit.
Aungst touched on how many aspects within health care can be simplified when automation and technology are introduced; namely, refilling of medications, the efficiency in which patients can recieve their medications, and improving packaging to make dosage and adherence an easier process.
