XLHealth and CVS offering medication advice

XLHealth, a disease management company, and CVS/pharmacy have partnered to provide free one-on-one medication consultations to a large segment of the Medicare beneficiaries participating in the Tennessee Medicare Health Support pilot program. The three-year, CMS-sponsored program was launched on Jan. 16 to offer free health support services to about 20,000 Medicare beneficiaries in Tennessee. XLHealth will provide beneficiaries with access to multiple consultations with CVS pharmacists who are specially trained on the complex medication needs of chronically ill patients.
