Walgreens launches e-newsletter for diabetes community

Newsletter addresses everything from clinical information on diabetes to recipes for diabetics.

To strengthen its hold on diabetes patients, Walgreens has launched a free quarterly e-newsletter for them. Featuring everything from clinical information on the disease to recipes for diabetics, the e-newsletter is designed for patients and their caregivers who opt in to receive this online resource. The Deerfield, Ill., chain already distributes 1.5 million copies of a yearly magazine called Diabetes & You.
