Wal-Mart, Playtex to remove baby bottles containing BPA from store shelves
Wal-Mart and Playtex announce they are removing baby bottles containing bisphenol A (BPA) from store shelves.

Wal-Mart, the world's largest retailer announced that it is immediately removing baby bottles and other products made with bisphenol A (BPA) from its Canadian stores presently, and baby bottles containing BPA from its U.S. stores next year, while Nalgene announced plans to phase out all BPA bottles. This follows new warnings by the U.S. and Canadian government that BPA, a chemical used to manufacture polycarbonate plastic products, is linked to cancer. A
