UnitedHealth and Medco to work together through 2012

Medco Health Solutions has signed an agreement to provide pharmacy benefit services to UnitedHealth until 2012.

Medco Health Solutions, since it has agreed to let the pharmacy benefit manager handle its pharmacy benefit services through December 2012. The agreement includes “new terms that provide clear alignment around serving UnitedHealth Group’s integrated commercial medical and pharmacy business,” said Medco CEO David Snow Jr.
