Some suncreens hurt coral reefs, warns biochemist

When purchasing sunscreens, consumers should pick biodegradable ones that don't hurt coral reefs, urges a Florida biochemist.

Ingredients in some sunscreens are causing coral reefs to bleach and die. That's the Caribbean Solutions SolGuard, which she claims is more friendly to the environment.
