The University of California, San Diego, will dedicate the new $45million building housing the Skaggs School of Pharmacy on May 2.The four-story, 110,000-sq. ft. building will accommodate 330Pharm.D. students, 60 Ph.D. candidates, and 30 residents, as wellas research facilities.
The University of California, San Diego, will dedicate the new $45 million building housing the Skaggs School of Pharmacy on May 2. The four-story, 110,000-sq. ft. building will accommodate 330 Pharm.D. students, 60 Ph.D. candidates, and 30 residents, as well as research facilities. The school was named in honor of drugstore pioneer L. S. Sam Skagg, after the Skaggs Institute for Research donated $30 million to the UCSD health sciences department.
