Safeway launches generic drug discount program in Eastern U.S. and Chicago area

Safewy has launched a $4 generic prescription drug discount program in eastern U.S. and Chicago areas.

Safeway has launched a generic prescription drug discount program at stores in the eastern United States and the Chicago area. Under the program, Safeway stores in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. and the Chicago area will offer prescriptions on hundreds of generic medications for $4 apiece.
