2008 Medicare Part D premiums to rise 21%, according to study by Avalere Health.

Medicare Part D prescription drug plan premiums will rise significantly for many beneficiaries in 2008, according to an analysis from Avalere Health. Beneficiaries will see an average rise of 21% if they stay with their current plans. Between 2006 and 2007, few Medicare Part D beneficiaries switched plans.
