New guidelines promote safe use of automated dispensing cabinets

The Institute for Safe Medication Practices has released new guidelines to encourage the safe use of automated dispensing cabinets.

How can automated dispensing cabinets (ADCs) be used safely? New guidelines are now available. They were developed by the Institute for Safe Medication Practices following a national forum held last year that included pharmacists, nurses, vendors, and others.
