NAPB awards VAWD certification to Reliance Wholesale

Reliance Wholesale Inc.,

a specialty pharmaceutical distributor, has received the Verified-Accredited Wholesale Distributors (VAWD) seal,

a voluntary designation given only to pharmaceutical distributors who demonstrate "best practices" for ensuring product quality and safety. The certification was issued to Reliance Wholesale, Cordova, Tenn., by NABP. The association established the VAWD program in 2004 as an accreditation and audit process designed to protect the public from the threat of counterfeit drugs affecting the U.S. drug supply.
