More chains partner with Microsoft to store drug records electronically

This capability enables patients to store and access their health records securely.

Like major chains, such as CVS, a consortium of regional drug chains is now working with Microsoft so that consumers can store their medication history online using Microsoft HealthVault. Using Microsoft's electronic health platform technology, patients can store and access their health records securely. The consortium includes Kerr Drug, Duane Reade, and others.
