With John Gans stepping down from the helm of the American Pharmacists Association, what would pharmacists like his successor to do? That was Drug Topics'
- fight for better working conditions for pharmacists (20%),
- unify the profession (19%),
- secure pharmacists' place as an integral part of the healthcare team (15%),
- help obtain adequate reimbursement for pharmacy (15%),
- and inspire pharmacists to expand from dispensing to medication therapy management (10%). The poll drew a total of 171 responses.
