ISMP to launch Web site for consumers

Until now, the Institute for Safe Medication Practices has been directing its outreach efforts mainly to health professionals. ISMP’s president, Michael Cohen, R.Ph., M.S., ScD, FASHP, told Drug Topics that this summer, though, the organization will be expanding its reach by setting up a Web site for consumers. The site will contain information related to adverse drug reactions and medication errors. So stay tuned.
