IMS forms health network with 10 leading researchers
IMS has partnered with leading figures in academia to form a research consortium in health care.

The market research firm IMS Health has partnered with 10 leading researchers to form the Health Services Research Network. A consortium of academia and the private sector, HSRN deploys IMS' wealth of data for research. Among the first subjects the network is studying are benchmarks for hospital drug costs, drug safety for various therapeutic classes, and others. At least three of the 10 researchers are pharmacists; the other experts are in the areas of medical ethics, public health, statistics, and others. More information about the network can be found at
