Hy-Vee expands generic drug program
About 400 drugs are available at the low price.
"As healthcare costs continue to rise, we want to do everything we can to improve access to medications for our customers," Bob Egeland, Hy-Vee vice president, pharmacy, said. "Better access not only ensures medication compliance and better overall health care, it reinforces the platform for our pharmacists to optimize patient use of medication through education and counseling."
Hy-Vee is an employee-owned corporation that operates 224 retail stores in seven states and recorded $5.6 billion in sales in 2007.
