Humana is waiving its prescription refill rule for health plan members in three Minnesota counties damaged by flooding. The company is lifting its normal 30-day restriction on early refills for members living in Fillmore, Houston, and Winona counties, where days of steady rain have killed seven people and caused millions of dollars in property damage. President Bush has declared the counties federal disaster areas, making them eligible for federal aid. Humana's early prescription refill waiver will remain in effect through Aug. 31.
