Generic Tolterodine Tartrate ER Capsules for Overactive Bladder

Generic Detrol LA^® (tolterodine tartrate extended release capsules, Chamber^® Pharmaceuticals, Inc.)

Indications: overactive bladder with symptoms of urinary incontinence, urgency, and frequency.

Dosage

• 4mg capsules taken orally 1x day w/water 

• 2 mg capsules taken orally 1xday with water if...
• mild to moderate hepatic impairment (Child-Pugh class A or B)

• severe renal impairment [Creatinine Clearance (CCr) 10–30 mL/min]

• drugs that are potent CYP3A4 inhibitors

Contraindications

• Urinary retention

• Gastric retention

• Uncontrolled narrow-angle glaucoma

• Known hypersensitivity to the drug or its ingredients, or fesoterodine fumarate ER tablets
