The Food Marketing Institute (FMI) has named Catherine M. Polley, R.Ph., VP, pharmacy services. She will spearhead FMI's new pharmacy public affairs program, launched this year to strengthen industry advocacy on federal policy. Polley was most recently chief policy officer and senior VP of government and professional affairs at APhA. In 2006, she was co-president of the Coalition for Community Pharmacy Action, an alliance between NACDS and NCPA. Polley worked for six years as NACDS VP of state government affairs and also spent 18 years at Kmart Corp. She will assume her new position in mid-September.
