Firdapse for LEMS in Adults

Firdapse (amifampridine, Catalyst Pharmaceuticals)
Indications: treatment of Lambert-Eaton myasthenic syndrome (LEMS) in adults.
Dosage: 15 mg to 30 mg daily taken orally in divided doses (3 to 4 times daily); increased by 5mg daily every 3-4 days, not to exceed 80mg daily
Contraindications: History of seizures; hypersensitivity to amifampridine or another aminopyridine
