Express Scripts sweetens offer for Caremark

Express Scripts announced an enhancement of its offer to acquire Caremark Rx. The Express Scripts offer is to acquire all outstanding shares of Caremark for $29.25 in cash and 0.426 shares of Express Scripts stock for each share of Caremark stock. The company will now pay an additional cash consideration of approximately 6% per annum on the $29.25 cash portion of Express Scripts' offer.
