Duane Reade establishes diabetes resource center

Duane Reade Holdings, a leading drugstore chain in the New York metropolitan area, announced the launch of the Diabetes Resource Center, a comprehensive training and educational facility for patients with diabetes mellitus. The flagship Diabetes Resource Center is located in the Duane Reade at 1889 Broadway. The center is open to the public and is free of charge. The program is taught by licensed pharmacists and certified diabetes educators and consists of educational classes, scheduled appointments, and walk-in services.
