Daniel Griffis, PharmD: The value of community pharmacy at our pharmacy is taking care of the customer. That’s our number one priority. Whether it’s meeting the patient’s needs, because they can’t see very well and need special packaging for their medicine, if they have a problem with their diabetic meter or any device they have, bringing the device into us and us helping them out and assisting them in getting it working correctly so that they can do what they need to do with the device. If they can’t get out, we can deliver it to them, as another way that we help meet the patient’s needs.
