Covidien recalls 32 lots of its prefilled syringes containing heparin
Covidien is recalling its heparin products supplied by Scientific Protein Laboratories because they contain a heparin-like contaminant.

More manufacturers are recalling their heparin products. Now it's the turn of Covidien, which was notified by its supplier, Scientific Protein Laboratories, that two lots of Heparin Sodium USP Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient it had acquired had a heparin-like contaminant in them. Although no adverse reports have been received, to be on the safe side, Covidien is voluntarily recalling
