California board OKs kiosks and tech-check-tech

The California pharmacy board approved regulations to allow installation of automated dispensing kiosks and to permit technicians to check the work of other technicians in hospitals with clinical pharmacy programs. Kiosks are permitted in pharmacies without any board action as long as certain requirements are met. The kiosk regulation is posted at
