App sends refill requests to pharmacy
MediSafe has launched a new mobile application that reminds users to refill their prescriptions as needed and enables them to do so through their mobile devices.
MediSafe has launched a new mobile application that reminds users to refill their prescriptions as needed and enables them to do so through their mobile devices.
“One key issue tied to nonadherence is people¹s forgetfulness when it comes to refilling medications, which is why we implemented this new option to make it easier for users to act instantly when a reminder is sent,” said Omri Shor, CEO of MediSafe. “Our mobile solution plays an important supportive role in helping people manage their medications properly, as well as their families, which motivates us to continuously update and make our application more personalized and convenient for every user.”
Users receive an alert when a refill is needed. Clicking on the pharmacy logo then directs them to the mobile refill page. MediSafe is available for free from the Google Play and iTunes App Store.
