The combination will enable clinicians to access parenteral drug compatibility information from within their professional work flow computer systems. Lawrence A. Trissel, R.Ph., creator of Trissel's 2, said that the partnership with Wolters Kluwer Health allows him to deliver parenteral drug compatibility information to healthcare professionals in a way that is easy for them to use. Trissel added that given Wolters Kluwer's longstanding relationships with pharmacy and healthcare systems developers and its software integration expertise, the company is an ideal partner for delivering this critical drug information at the point of care. Mark Millikan, Pharm.D., senior director of product management for Wolters Kluwer Health, said that the addition of Trissel's 2 data to Medi-Span's growing line of integrated solutions will make it possible for healthcare professionals to get quick answers to compatibility questions.
