USP has announced a public comment and review period process for proposed changes to USP General Chapter 797 Pharmaceutical Compounding of Sterile Preparations. The public comment period will end on Aug 15. In addition, USP will host a series of six Webinars designed to provide additional information on the proposed revisions. The proposed changes have been posted on the USP Web site at http://www.usp.org/. Chapter 797 sets practice standards to help ensure that compounded sterile preparations are of the highest quality.
