Two regional chains tie the knot
Two Hispanic pharmacy chains combine under Navarro name

Navarro Discount Pharmacies is hitching up with the 11-store Sedano's Pharmacy & Discount chain. The merger will result in a total of 32 pharmacies. Navarro claims to be the largest Hispanic-owned drugstore chain in this country. Sedano, located in South Florida, is also a Hispanic retailer. The announcement was made by Navarro parent MBF Healthcare Partners, which added that the combined entity will have annual revenues of more than $350 million and will operate under the Navarro brand name.
