It’s hard to believe it, but 2017 is already at an end. Over the past 12 months, we here at Drug Topics have brought you hundreds of articles (in both web and print) on the latest industry news, tips for helping you patients be healthier, and the info you need to help you perform at your best.
Over the past year, the only thing you loved more than reading stories from or about other pharmacists was data on salaries. How appropriate then, that we end 2017 on a note about salaries. A lone factor or two rarely swung a state’s ranking. For instance, pharmacists in Iowa ranked number 49 in total mean wage, but that ranking did not stop them from coming in third place, overall. There are other factors to consider, as well. For another example, the average pharmacist in Alaska made more money than anyone in the country, but Alaska appears on this list.
