Scripted for Her: Maternal Immunizations

In this episode, Natalie DiPietro Mager, PharmD, PhD, chats with Hannah Fish, PharmD, CPHQ, about the NCPA’s Maternal Immunizations Toolkit and pharmacist support for mothers.

In episode 5 of Scripted for Her, Natalie DiPietro Mager, PharmD, PhD, met with Hannah Fish, PharmD, CPHQ, senior director of strategic initiatives at the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA). Surrounding their conversation on the NCPA’s Maternal Immunizations toolkit, Fish and Mager discussed the important role community pharmacists play in caring for new and expecting mothers, as well as women in general.

Fish received her pharmacy doctorate at the University of Toledo College of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2015. She then went on to serve in leadership roles with the Pharmacy Quality Alliance and now the NCPA, where she oversees strategic organization initiatives focused on pharmacist members and the patients they serve.

Follow along as Mager and Fish explore the importance of immunizations for patients in the community and how pharmacist guidance is especially important as mothers begin exploring vaccination options for themselves and their children.
