The Total Pharmacy Solutions Summit Summer 2025 event will be taking place virtually on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM ET. This summer’s event focuses on revenue stream diversification and will feature some of the pharmacy industry’s most notable experts. Curated for pharmacy industry employees and pharmacies across the country, sign up for this event and learn how to cultivate a thriving and sustainable future for your independent pharmacy.

“Pharmacists should attend the Total Pharmacy Solutions Summit because it provides actionable insights and forward-thinking strategies to thrive in a changing health care landscape,” wrote American Associated Pharmacies, one of the summit’s general session speakers, leading up to the event. “Whether you’re looking to expand your services, navigate billing complexities, or strengthen partnerships within your community, this summit will equip pharmacists with the tools to innovate, remain competitive, and ultimately improve patient care.”

The Summer 2025 Total Pharmacy Solutions Summit will begin with a keynote presentation from the National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP) titled “Bridging Gaps, Building Connections: NCPDP’s New Vision for the Future of Pharmacy.” This session will feature insights from the likes of John W. Hill, MBAHCM, chief operating officer with NCPDP, and Pooja Babbrah, MBA, executive vice president of strategy & industry alignment. Amid technological advancements and an evolving health care landscape, Hill and Babbrah will discuss the future of pharmacy and how collaboration is driving innovation.

Other featured speakers will include:

Heidi Polek, RPh, EMBA, vice president of product management at Outcomes, will host a session titled “Turning Reconciliation into a Revenue Growth Engine.” Explaining how reconciliation is more than just paperwork but a revenue opportunity, Polek will help attendees understand reconciliation and teach them how to increase efficiency and free up staff time. Todd Sega, PharmD, MBA, managing director of pharmacy at PQS by Innovaccer, and Emily Endres, BSPS, vice president of Pharmacy, will also be joining this summer’s event to discuss payer program engagement. Their session is titled “Unlocking Pharmacy Value: A Guide to Payer Program Engagement.”

Next, a trio of representatives from Real Value Rx will be presenting a session titled “Flexible Dosing Medications to Help Your Pharmacy Thrive.” Curated for attendees to learn the Real Value way of lowering costs, increasing revenue, and delivering great value to patients, this presentation will help pharmacies identify flexible dosing items and learn how to work with physicians on getting the best therapeutic medications for patients.

With the final session of the day sponsored by American Associated Pharmacies, the summit will conclude with a presentation titled “Expanding Revenue Streams in Independent Pharmacy: Strategies for Today and the Future.” Featuring Tara Pfund, PharmD, chief strategy officer at Cascadia Pharmacy Group, this session will focus on proven and emerging methods to diversify revenue streams beyond traditional dispensing, including clinical services and strategic community partnerships.

Outside of notable insights on the future of pharmacy and opportunities for revenue diversification, this summer’s event will also feature 2 free continuing education sessions worth 1.00 CE credit each. With each session focusing on diabetes and heart health, attendees will have the opportunity to gain deeper insights into the specialized knowledge and services independent pharmacists provide.
