Polident MicroClean

Polident MicroClean. A GlaxoSmithKline-sponsored survey of 312 U.S. denture wearers published in August found that many are unaware of the disadvantages of using toothpaste to clean their dentures. New Polident MicroClean denture cleanser is proven to kill 99.9% of odor-causing bacteria and more of other microorganisms than regular toothpaste. It is also proven to effectively remove plaque and tough stains to prevent buildup, and to remove more fungi and bacteria than toothpaste. Suitable for most denture wearers, the MicroClean product is available in 4 versions: 3 Minute, Overnight Whitening, Partials, and Smokers. (www.MyPolicare.com)

The Original Condom

The Original Condom.  Two French aristocrats, founders of The Original Condom Company in Condom, France, have introduced a new product line intended “to bring class and elegance to the boudoir.” The Original Condom differentiates itself from traditional latex condom brands with packaging meant to eliminate all embarrassment from the safe-sex process, Suggesting cufflinks rather than condoms, the chic black suede box with gold lettering can be displayed in plain sight instead of remaining hidden away in nightstand drawers. Shoppers may choose from the Pocket (3 condoms, priced at $13.50) to the Regular (6 condoms, priced at $20). A refill package of 12 is priced at $24. Perhaps a holiday stocking gift? Celsius

Celsius. Celsius Holdings is introducing new, noncarbonated, naturally sweetened flavors to its line of pre-exercise fitness drinks. The newest flavor, Apple Orchard Blend, has a smooth crisp taste and is sweetened with a natural stevia-based sweetener, making it different from any other fitness or energy drink on the market. Strawberry Kiwi and Lemon Iced Tea flavors launched a few weeks ago. Apple Orchard Blend is expected to appear in drugstores by December 1. (www.celsius.com)

Rest Easy Bed Bug Spray. Rest Easy Spray is not new, of course, but the resurgent bed-bug problem is certainly in the news. Also newsworthy, Rest Easy is now distributed through drugstores. Rest Easy is an all-natural nonpesticide that kills and repels bedbugs. It has a pleasant cinnamon scent and can also kill other small insects, such as bed mites. In addition to the 16-ounce trigger sprayer for home use, Rest Easy comes in a 2-oz. spray-bottle twin-pack, making it easy to travel with and take on airplanes. Spraying it around one’s hotel room upon arrival kills the critters outright. Spraying luggage upon departure will keep stowaway bugs from coming home. (www.resteasy4bedbugs.com/index.php)
