Following on the heels of funding from the National Cancer Institute, the National Institutes of Health National Institute on Aging has awarded Leap of Faith Technologies ( http://www.emedonline.com/) a grant of close to $1 million to develop the eMedonline solution for medication compliance. eMedonline uses cellphones to gather data from RFID tags on medication packages, to ensure patients are taking the right drug at the right time, while tracking health status.
