Checkout some of the most important sessions and video interviews from the 2024 National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) Annual Convention and Expo.
This year’s National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) Annual Convention and Expo took place from October 26 to 29 in Columbus, Ohio. Over the course of the 4 day meeting, attendees had the chance to sit in on a variety of educational sessions, panel discussions, and workshops about important topics that are impacting pharmacists today.
From updated vaccine recommendations from the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices and tips for surviving a Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) inspection, to tools for identifying metabolic roadblocks to weight loss and increasing your pharmacy’s online presence, there was no shortage of information that pharmacists could take back home and implement in their businesses.
This year’s theme—Growth. Performance. Success.—aimed to help pharmacy teams navigate the many obstacles and opportunities in today’s complex pharmacy landscape. The Drug Topics team was on-site at the Greater Columbus Convention Center reporting on the latest news and updates from NCPA’s business education sessions and conducting video interviews with leading experts in the field.
