National Influenza Vaccination Week promotes flu vaccinations

National Influenza Vaccination Week, which takes place from Nov. 26 through Dec. 2, is a seven-day awareness event designed to bring attention to the importance of influenza vaccinations. The event includes Children's Flu Vaccination Day, to be held on Nov. 27. The event encourages vaccinations for high-risk children—any child under the age of five. The National Association of Chain Drug Stores and its members support and promote awareness of the importance of the influenza vaccine. For more information, visit
