Robert J. Bolger, the first president/CEO of the National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS), died on Monday, Oct. 8. Bolger served NACDS from 1962 to 1987. He was elected NACDS president and CEO in 1967. Subsequently, he served as a member of the NACDS Honorary Board.
