NACDS Mobile is the association?s new mobile website that serves as a ?guide on the go? specifically designed for ease of use on any smart phone with a web browser.
The National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) has launched NACDS Mobile, its new mobile website that serves as a “guide on the go” to NACDS meetings, advocacy, and public relations. The website is specifically designed for ease of use on any smart phone with a web browser.
NACDS Mobile features include a designated section for each of the association’s conferences and meetings, as well as the most recent news on NACDS’ public policy advocacy and advancement of pharmacy as the face of neighborhood healthcare. It also provides a hub for NACDS’ social media presence on Twitter and Facebook.
“NACDS Mobile applies a current approach to NACDS’ consistent mission,” said NACDS President and CEO Steven C. Anderson, IOM, CAE. “Wherever you are, it delivers the latest on NACDS’ work to foster business community and to advance pharmacies as the face of neighborhood healthcare through government advocacy and communications.”
NACDS Mobile complements the smart phone applications, or “apps,” that were introduced for use at select NACDS meetings and conferences in 2010, and which will remain in use for select meetings in 2011. These apps are also free and designed to enhance attendees’ efficiency and experience at NACDS conferences and meetings with speaker information, interactive site maps, schedules, and more.
