More than 500 hospitals are participating in Entereg program

Enrolling enables these facilities to dispense Entereg.

More than 500 hospitals have signed up for Adolor Corp.'s Entereg Access Support & Education (E.A.S.E.) Program. Enrolling enables these facilities to dispense Entereg (alvimopan), which was approved recently to manage postoperative ileus. The Exton, Pa., firm is heartened by this response and believes that there is still much room for growth, since 500 hospitals represent only 20% of the annual bowel resection procedures in this country.
