The purchase is expected to expand the enrollment of the campus by up to 400 students.
The Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences has agreed to buy a two-story building in downtown Worcester on Foster Street across from its campus. Priced at $1.5 million, the 19,500 square foot building is expected to expand the enrollment of the campus by up to 400 additional students over the next few years. Campus officials believe the acquisition will turn the vacant building into much-needed classrooms and learning facilities for the college, while helping to revitalize the downtown area.
