Rein will retain his CEO title.Replacing Rein as president/COOeffective May 1 is Gregory D. Wasson,currently Walgreen Co. executiveVP and president of WalgreensHealth Services (WHS), the company’smanaged care division. Trent E.Taylor, currently Walgreens executiveVP and chief information officer, will replaceWasson on May 1 as president of WHS. The moves arepart of Walgreens’ long-term succession planning.
