Jewel-Osco offering grocery discounts to frequent pharmacy customers

Customers in the program will get a 10% discount coupon after every five prescriptions filled.

Jewel-Osco has started a Prescription Plus program that will reward its frequent pharmacy customers with discounts on future grocery purchases. Customers using a Jewel-Osco Preferred Card will get a 10% discount coupon after every five prescriptions filled. That includes new, transferred, and refilled medication orders. "The Prescription Plus program is Jewel-Osco Pharmacy's way of responding to the tough economic challenges many of our customers face today," Tom Rousonelos, vice president of Osco pharmacy operations, said. Jewel Osco has 184 locations in Illinois, Indiana, and Iowa.
