The three-dose series of the vaccine can now be given within three weeks at 0, 7, and 21 to 30 days, followed by a booster at 12 months. Previously, immunization with the product required a 0-, 1-, and 6-month dosing schedule. Twinrix is indicated for prevention of the two diseases in adults age 18 years and older.
