Genetics a factor when using botanical supplements
Genetic differences predict anti-inflammatory benefits from nutritional products

According to a study reported in the journal Nutrition, a botanical supplement reduced inflammation more effectively in individuals with genetic variations that are associated with overexpression of inflammation and risk for early heart attacks. The study examined healthy individuals with raised inflammation levels and their response to a 12-week course of botanical treatment.
