FDA studying if gel for diabetic ulcers causes cancer

Regranex is being studied by the FDA on whether it is linked to higher rates of cancer.

Is Regranex (becaplermin, Johnson & Johnson) Gel, which helps heal foot and leg diabetic ulcers, associated with higher rates of cancer death? That?s what the Food & Drug Administration is now studying. In an early company.
