FDA panel wants to ban certain OTC asthma inhalers

An FDA advisory panel has voted 11-7 to recommend that the FDA ban certain nonprescription inhalers because they contain propellants that harm the ozone layer. Among the products that would be affected by a ban is Wyeth Consumer Healthcare's Primatene Mist.
