The National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) recently announced that John Coster, PhD, RPh, has joined the association as its new Senior Vice President of Government Affairs.
The National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) recently announced that John Coster, PhD, RPh, has joined the association as its new senior vice president of government affairs.
“John Coster is well respected in the pharmacy community as an expert in our field,” said Bruce Roberts, executive vice president and CEO. “As a pharmacist himself, with extensive legislative and policy experience, John will be an outstanding addition to the NCPA team.”
Coster most recently worked at the Rite Aid Corp., where he served as vice president of federal affairs and public policy. Before joining Rite Aid, he was vice president of policy and programs at the National Association of Chain Drug Stores. He holds a BS in Pharmacy from St. John’s University in New York and both a masters degree and a PhD in policy sciences from the University of Maryland Graduate School in Baltimore.
He is a licensed pharmacist in New York, Maryland, and Virginia.
