Consumer Reports poll: TV drug ads should include information on how to report side effects

Consumers say they will report serious side effects to the FDA if toll free numbers and Web site information are included in TV ads.

A new MedWatch, Consumers Union gave the FDA a petition signed by nearly 56,000 consumers asking that a toll-free number and Web site be included in all TV drug ads so they can easily report their serious side effects to the agency.
