Clearinghouse targets pharmacy theft

RxPATROL is a web-based clearinghouse for pharmacies to report thefts of controlled substances in an effort to prevent future crimes and to assist law enforcement apprehend and prosecute perpetrators. Funded by Purdue Pharma, it was co-created by the National Community Pharmacists Association and two other groups.
