The American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) has introduced a new logo and tagline that it said better represents the group’s mission and vision.

The new tagline reads: “pharmacists advancing healthcare.” 

“A lot of thought went into the development of this new logo and tagline. We kept the color blue, but made it much brighter and more vibrant. We chose a bold, italicized font to represent that ASHP is a vibrant organization, and a symbol that indicates we are always moving forward to advance practice,” said ASHP CEO Paul W. Abramowitz, PharmD, ScD (Hon.), FASHP. “And our new tagline, ‘pharmacists advancing healthcare,’ best represents the pharmacist’s role as an integral member of the healthcare team in hospitals, health systems, and clinics.”
